Yeah, here is my review. ICDSoft web hosting sucks really bad. They are so bad because they don’t have any bad reviews about them when I searched for “icdsoft sucks” on Google today… yeah bad for their competitors is what I meant. Now that they have special extra discount with their ICDsoft promotion link, they suck more (to their competitors)! I also tried “icd soft sucks”, “icdsof sucks”, “icd sucks”, “icd soft sux” or even “icdsoft scam” and other variation of misspells, just in case some smart ass cannot even spell the host name right or try to avoid being sued by ICDsoft. Sorry still none.

I always do a search for “X sucks” or “X problems” on Google for every host X (replace X with any hosting company) before I decide to host my sites anywhere. Most other big hosting companies including GoDaddy, Hostgator, Hostmonster etc has some kind hate-sites or hate-pages dedicated to them by some unhappy customers. Surprisingly ICDsoft doesn’t have one! So I decide to create a page for it now. Sorry ICDSoft! I hate you ICDsoft, for not allowing me to exercise my option to choose other hostings after this!

I have been with ICDsoft for more than 6 years and currently have 7 accounts with them. I also have other 5 web hosting companies that I currently use for my clients. To be honest, ICDsoft hosting is the cheapest, and their customer support has answered my support tickets at the fastest times compared to all other hosts I have experienced. I have been using the Illacrimo theme for this WordPress blog. It is a very nice looking and clean template by Lifespy. However, since I am now using WordPress version 2.7, this theme seems old because it does not reflect the changes and updates that version 2.7 has to offer.

I am thinking if a few things can be fixed so the theme can be reflecting changes by WordPress 2.7, this would be a perfect theme 3-column blue layout template. Things that can be change includes:

• threading for comments which will make this theme look so much better.
• sticky post can be highlighted at the top of the page

If anybody has seen an Illacrimo theme for WordPress 2.7 or better yet a downloadable one, please let me know.

Here is one crazy statistics when looking at which web hosting (email hosting or whatever other hosting requiring to use their servers), GoDaddy Hosting got 30% hate pages dedicated for them in Google result pages.

The above fact is also the reason why you should have your website hosted by a company other than your domain registrar. A company can only do only one thing well. If they host, they cannot register domains. If they can register cheap domains, they most probably cannot host your web pages reliably.

Basically, 0/10 pages listed will say bad things about ICDsoft. On the other hand, doing a “Host Gator Hosting Sucks” search on Google will return 9/10 hate-pages about Hostgator and only 1 good (or neutral page) review page.

Does that mean Hostgator should be avoided totally? Not yet. I over simplified my analysis to not look at the big picture. I did not look at the total pages that talks about both hostings on the internet. Hostgator has 10 times more pages on Google thus probably has bigger volume of complaints too.
